I have a 9 month old who talks to me about safety all the time. Our last conversation went something like this: "Daddy, you're so silly. Let me show you how to open the baby gate, it's actually very easy".
Yes, we're finding a new gate.

And I have to confess, our house is not nearly as safe as Arden says. Wires and knives everywhere! But she puts on a good face.
