302. The Lounge - Tag Team Tub Time

Do you bathe your kids together or separately? That's the question we asked our panel of experienced parents. We wanted to know if and when our group of moms and dads thought it was cool to go two-up in the tub. When do kids outgrow this interpersonal hygiene? Opinions start at "play." This episode is brought to you by Boon.

Love the new opening titles.
I can remember bathing with my brother when I was really small.
There was alot more splashing than washing going on, but it was fun.

Love the little girl: "Are you done talking? Are you done talking? Are you done talking?"

my husband fights to have bathtime with our 11 month old son. they get in the tub together and afterwards they chase eachother around the house naked. that is pretty much our bedtime routine. so, when will it be time to tell my husband that he can't get in the tub with our son anymore?

I was wondering that question myself. I have a 3 year old, 18 month old and a baby due in June. All girls. It'll be tough to get all the girls in the tub together so we may have to weed out the oldest when it's time for the youngest to get in the tub. Wish me luck.

I've heard of people who get right in the tub with there kids. It would be a great way to play with your child especially for a commuter dad like myself. Our baby will be migrating to the big tub soon, and it's made me consider jumping in at the same time. The thing is I have a baby girl and to me it seems a little strange to get in the tub with her (I'd have to explain the tittle). Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I suppose I could always wear a bathing suit, but I'm thinking she'll want to wear one too and cleaning her would become difficult. Of course the 'peeing in the tub' also makes joining her a little scarry.

I love that guy with the kids, but I too wonder what a child is doing in a bar....

I myself can't wait until my son is old enough to take a shower with me. It would be altogether easier, and I hope faster. I only wonder what we are going to do between baby bath tub and shower, as we don't have a bathtub, just a shower.
