Hey everyone! My name is Abby, I'm 22, and I'm 28 weeks pregnant with my little boy, Jack. My hubby-to-be and I are soo excited to meet our first child.
I read the DadLabs book Tim (daddy/hubby-to-be) bought shortly after finding out we were excepting and laughed my quickly expanding butt off. But I also learned a lot that wasn't mentioned in my "mommy" books. I also loved the way the Dads showed so much respect for us soon-to-be-mommies. So many "Dad" books crack some kinda mean jokes on the expense of us hormonal pregger girls. I'm sure DadLabs has saved us from some hormone fueled fights from (unknowingly) tactless comments from Tim.

Thanks for making this whole learning process a little bit easier (and not to mention funny)!

Welcome, Abby. Make sure to send Tim here, too. My wife an I found the DVDs very helpful early in the pregnancy. As you're probably finding out now, you run out of steam around 30 weeks, and it's not just the mom! Good luck and let us know how things go.

Thanks! And I plan to send Tim here, he just isn't online nearly as much as I am. Yeah I'm wiped all the time now. I was going to see my grandmother today but after getting ready to leave I was too tired to go. But Tim slept even more than me today. Thats funny how that works.

Welcome! Thanks so much for picking up the book and giving it a read. I think you'll like hanging out at the site. Moms are more than welcome here, you just have to be cool with the dad way of looking at things. Make sure to friend up great guys like Ben and Nick. You 'll get to know them pretty quickly. But there are lots of interesting dad around here. I look forward to future conversations.

Thanks for writing the book! Tim and I really enjoyed reading it and laughing together. I think it helped him out a lot with the "first time daddy" nerves and got him really excited about everything. I intend to get a copy for any of my friends when they're expecting.
