I am a new expecting first time dad, and I would love any advice thanks.

Take a vacation with the wife during the 2nd trimester and spend time to talk and be a together.

I'm in the same boat as you and just a few things I have learned... embrace this time, its hard work in the beginning when you find out that you are expecting but just remember you are doing it for your little one, talking about the nursery, the doctor appointments, and just getting the house ready. Something that goes without saying is give your wife what she needs... and that is support. Without you she would probably be a wreck.

I'd definitely get the Dad Labs book if you haven't already. I think Due Dads is still on Netflix. Check that out also. It's where I found out about Dad Labs.

Our book and videos are a good place to start. Available here in our store.

Use the search feature on the site to investigate specific topics, and if you don't find what you are looking for, post a question here in the forums. There are lots of experienced dads that hang out here that are willing to share opinions.

This is going to sound like I am trying to be funny, but those of you who know me on the site know that I am not funny.

Start planning two stages ahead. Who is going to pick your kid up from kindergarten? Don't underestimate your desire to be with and take care of your kids.

Thanks for all the tips everyone I appreciate it. I know this is going to be a crazy journey, However I am very excited and am anxiously awaiting the arrival. Any tips for money saving, and brands that are good, or to stay away from for ( diapers, formula etc), anything is helpfull. Thanks again All!!!!!!!!!!
