Greetings Dads and Dads to be!!

First off I would like to commend you all for being great/inspiring Dad's to aspiring fathers like myself, as I can relate because I have a pretty awesome dad myself and don't what I'd do without him.

Second... I am 21 years old with a year left in college and I'm 6 weeks pregnant! (Of course I don't really have a baby in MY stomach, but you guys get it...) I've been dating my beloved girlfriend, soon to be fiance (she's 24 going on 25 in January), now for about a year and a half and she knows that my biggest dream in life is to be a great father. I've been patronizing the site for a while now just probing through the other threads and decided to finally dive in and hopefully add some different energy and insights into the forum. I'm here to be around like-minded people (Dads of course), share my experiences, receive advice, and most importantly try to figure out what the hell I'm getting myself into!

*Note*: I'm not your typical college student who would have lost his mind after a positive pregnancy test. I'm very excited and believe that any timing is perfect timing. I'm ready to be a dad!

I'm right there with ya man only turned the other way. My fiance has like 6 years of vet school left but I'm done and in the working world. I am 23 and she is 21. I commend YOU for taking it the way you are and being supportive. The world needs more dads like the ones here on DadLabs. You're going to be a great dad and don't let anyone tell you different
