picky eater

My daughter is 3 will only eat a limited number of foods - french fries (if they are regular potato and crispy), potato chips, crackers, occasionally chicken nuggets and pretzels.

Any advice on increasing he diet? She can't have dairy which limits some of what she eats (she projectile vomits whenever she has dairy - as in for 24 hours after ingesting it) but not as many of her options as it used to be.

She started solid foods late due to other health issues but has been healthy for quite some time. Her eating has stayed just as picky since she was a bit under 2.

We've got some videos on picky eaters. One of my favorite suggestions: put out a "testing bowl" with every evening meal. A special bowl, separate from the plate that has a new item, offered to try. Don't even push it. It's just there. Be patient. Put a mix of things there. A treat sometimes. It's a very gentle way to suggest experimentation.

I have a very picky eater as well (although not the dairy issue) The tasting bowl has been helpful to us as has been a fairly diligent search for healthy things he actually likes. Fried shrimp and chicken salad and asian noodles were pleasant surprises so don't be afraid to venture outside the box. Best of luck!
