Small, speaker recommendation? for iPad 3 Years ago
I want to get a small, yet high quality stand alone speaker to go with my iPad in the kitchen for watching tv and listening to Pandora. Any suggestions? Price no object (well it is but I don't want tinny $20 speakers).

I've been looking for the excuse to get an iPad, and you may have provided me with one. My wife recently broker her wrist, so I found myself in the kitchen folding laundry and watching Lost on ABC.com on my MacBook -- but the laptop was taking up too much real estate on the counter and interfering with my otherwise awesome folding technique. iPad to the rescue!

Actually, now that I think of it, that's pretty weak.

I here the Bose MusicMonitor set is nice although I have never heard them have been happy with Bose products before. I love Polk speakers but have heard nothing about the their AMR series. Anyone got info on those.
