As summer approaches, what are you going to do with your kids all day?

This thread is for books that recommend things you can do and make with your kids.

DadLabs recently interviewed Gever Tulley of

Fifty Dangerous Things You Should Let Your Children Do

Here is the video:

I personally recommend this book.

Today I interviewed Ken Denmead who wrote GeekDad. This book has some fun projects like LED oragami, flying kites at night, helium balloons attached to a video camera and more. I will let you know when the video comes out.

I will definitely be doing some projects out of this book.

I did a dadlabs video about it awhile back

Which brings to mind that this thread should include activity blogs as well

Here are just a few of the probably hundreds of craft/activity sites I've saved... all different ages of activities, all fairly simple and inexpensive... very addictive... because one blog leads to another blog, links to another, leads to another... ad nauseum...

While in Asheville, my wife and I picked up this book for our kids to do on vacation. My five year old daughter loved it - ABC's plus doodling.
