What is the best Father's Day gift you've ever received or what would you like to recieve if you could choose? 3 Years, 11 Months ago
I just stumbled across this site and LOVE it! What a great and FUNNY concept.<br><br>I'd like to throw out the above question to the group and get some good ideas for this Father's Day weekend. What do you think?

Carrie,<br>My oldest is only 3, so I don't have many Father's Days under my belt to remember. But, my favorite gift so far was simply a card from my parents. It stated how proud they were of me and that they were impressed how I had taken to fatherhood. It wasn't much but it was a positive acknowledgment of my parenting efforts from the two people I admire most when it comes to child rearing.

My love of wine and cheapskate instincts are always at war. My wife solved the problem by signing me up for a really cool wine club for Father's Day! Love it. Father's Day all year. Welcome to DadLabs, btw.

My wife and I have been talking about me getting a motorcycle for a while, especially with gas being priced how it is. We both have SUVs (she actually needs hers a little more than I do being an interior designer), so I wanted something I could drive when I didn't necessarily need the truck. Well, yesterday she went with me and helped me pick out my gift (photo by my wife; she's taken up photography as a hobby) ....

Wow ~ What a Beauty! It screams Go FAST ~ Go really really FAST...so, be careful.

I'm part of a group of gals that produce a podcast called TheDivaCast. We rode on Harleys as part of a Midlife Awakening series (there's a video of it on our website)...It was a BLAST, but the guys ended up going close to 100mph ~ Moms and Dads really don't need to be doing that crazy stuff, but I admit it was F-U-N! Enjoy & Happy Father's Day!

Considering my father has never visited the homeland, maybe sending him to Switz down the road might not be a bad idea. Just to see him as a tourist would be worth it. We have had and still have strong ties in AI and AR, St. Gallen and St. Fiden for awhile, maybe 5 gens or so. It would probably phhhhhhhhhlabbergast him in a teenie tiny way. Either that or a good set of Snap-On's. He aint picky....

The coolest gift I have ever recieved was family business cards. My wife designed the business cards that had our family on it as cartoons. It's pretty cool cause they look alot like us.We meet people that we like and we get along with and instead of jotting our info down on a scrap that will get lost, we have these hip little cards. I gave them to people at work and they were wowed. She also got post-its and pens that had the same design. Have a look:
