What Would You Want to See at ABC Kids Expo 2011?

It's the largest showcase of pregnancy, infant, toddler and pre-k products in the land? We're headed to Louisville and are ready to work the floor of the ABC Kids Expo. What would you be on the lookout for? Are there're any existing brands or products that you would be interested in learning more about? Is there a kind of product that you hope might be coming to market?

Let us know and we will try to run it down for you. Think of us as your Baby Gear Scouting Team -- and as your BGST, we await your instructions.

Right this minute, I'm looking for something to temporarily section off a toy space in a big room. I'm thinking that a metal play yard might be a good solution or maybe building something out of lumber. Anyone got something for me?

Ben -- So great to finally meet you. Wish you could has stuck around to see some of the show. There are a couple of manufacturers at the show that specialize in gates and play yards. I'll grab a photo or two today.

Maybe next year you could come for a full day!

I think for your sake you need to be looking for bottle carriers!

They got any preschool learning tools with any promise? We just unloaded $30 on a Team Umizoomi Math Kit and I already feel ripped off. And I'm always looking for bags to throw my kids out the window with and new ways to worry about losing fingers!

I snagged a brochure for one of the larger gate/fence/baby stockyard manufacturers I saw and completely forgot to give it to you, Ben! Doh! (Blame it on DHtC.)

Tireswings!

I saw a table set at the store downtown that the plate was a construction site and the utensils were bulldozers and stuff like that. Maybe you could track that down and find out why it's $40 a place setting? It was certainly more than $30.
