Website Feedback - Requests - Suggestions
4 Years, 4 Months ago
Hello DadLab Members!

You might have noticed that we've been making changes to the DadLabs website over the past two months. We're currently in the process of updating our site to make it easier for users to interact with videos. In addition, we're looking for ways to strengthen the DadLabs community. It is our goal to give fellow dads an online experience that reflects the parenting perspective held by modern Dads.

As we move forward, we want to incorporate any suggestions you might have. We're looking for any insight you have regarding the website, and/or any features that you'd like to see in the future. Feel free to add what you like about or site, or list any of your other favorite sites. You can send any suggestions to john@dadLabs.com.

Thanks to all the great dads out there that have helped us build a solid community. Any input is greatly appreciated, and we'll keep you posted on any future changes/additions.

Thanks again,
John F.

I've noticed that the videos seem to be in all different formats. I can watch them here, or on youtube or on some other site (blip?). Youtube is a cesspool so I generally watch from the home page, but I don't see a link where I can comment from there.

When I watch lots of videos (like going through the archives) I start skipping through the intro's, just because its hard to watch the same thing 10 times over. If it was about half as long I wouldn't mind as much.

One last thing- when I found out that my partner was pregnant I googled father forum and similar phrases. Dadlabs doesn't come up, even though it has an active forum. I found you guys by searching youtube for parenting videos.

Sorry if I am being pushy. I really like what you guys are doing and I'm just throwing my hopefully helpful niggles out there.

Hey,
First off I want to thank you guys. This whole fatherhood bit is complicated enough and some of the books out there will drive a guy mad trying to read and get them. That pastel one with the rocking chair seemed designed to give nightmares to anyone possessing testosterone in an quanity. So my suggestion/request/pleadin on my knees here is to give a good overview kinda thing on dealing with the actual labor itself. That's what's scaring me right now and I bet alot of other DueDads are there with me.

The community forums/discussions are a bit cumbersome to navigate and use... BUT, not horrible. I like being able to comment on videos directly here now.

Keep up the great work!!
