It's been a rainy Sunday here in Austin Texas and the kids spent most of the day inside. I did sanction a couple of hours of run around and get muddy and splash in puddles during the late afternoon. Thank goodness the kids got their ya ya's out. It got me to thinking, what do you Northern folks do when it's raining and it's too cold to go outside? Love to have a few ideas to refer to when we get our one or two days of winter in a few months.

We have indoor play areas at the library and science museum. The science museum has an area for kids under 7 that has a water play area and a bubble station. Membership has its privileges. I'm sure other folks take their kids to the indoor playgrounds and the indoor water parks. They cost money, though.
