I thought the same thing when I saw that last week. But then I went to the YouTube page and it had a bunch of stuff about how they just couldn't get the take right and this was a last shot before giving up and then that you can give them money. Maybe it works for them, but it makes it all the more fake to me.

But experiencing the real thing is priceless and not something I'd want to share with 4 million people. I hope you had a good time, Brad.

Hey Ben, Thanks for the details, I had not been to the Youtube page. I played a little guitar with my kids this evening and they loved it. I am a terrible guitar player but they dig dancing to my off beat out of tune jams! I must make that part of the weekly routine.

i know some people have been offended by the fact that they admitted to doing 10 takes (or something) to get it right, but i can't say that bothers me. first of all, i've done at least that many takes with my flip trying to get my son to sing "happy birthday" for his aunt. secondly, they really *did* get it right - it's an awesome video.

Wow, Ben. Just wanted to share a cute video. I obviously didn't spend the time researching the background of the video as you did. Next time I will be more diligent before posting. Didn't think kids could fake adoration.

After going to his website, his first quote is this: "I'm just a father of two working my way through college." He has crafted a website of songs that he sings with his two daughters. To me that doesn't scream scam or fake, but a dad looking for opportunity while singing with his girls. Most dads don't spend that kind of time with their kids, so I think it's fine.

While personally, I won't be purchasing any of his music, I still appreciate how he has honed his talent that he chooses to share with his kids. To each his own I guess.

It's funny you should post this now. As I was rocking my 10 wk old Olivia Lara in my arms the other nite, a little blue grass song was inspired and just came right out of me...but only the first verse and chorus. The second verse is taking a few more ocking sessions to come up with.
