they have been filming me a lot lately.

hilarious...

i had that happen to me once, sorta. we driving home for the holidays and my son mustve been right around sonny's age at the time.

i figured making an 8 hour drive throughout the night was the best way to maximize family time over the holiday. well around 4 am i couldnt drive any further.
we got off at the next exit and found a nice motel. i carried him in, registered and went straight to our room on the second floor. when we woke up later that morning, i realized i hadnt even brought the diaper bag in, let alone a change of clothes or toothbrush or anything. it was middle of winter so i didnt want to drag him out in the cold why i gathered stuff from the car, so i thought maybe a cartoon on the tv would keep him occupied for the 10 minutes id be gone. not so much.
i came back in and when i got upstairs, the door was open, and he was gone. my heart dropped...i ran back down stairs to try and find him, and lo and behold the elevator rings and he comes struttin out naked...i was totally relieved, but by far it was the scariest two minutes or so (though it felt like an eternity with every possible scenario running through my head the whole time) I had ever experienced and even had to laugh with him when he giggled thinking we were playing a game.
