TOPIC: BOB Stroller Conversion

Even with the quick release "fixed" inside the crossbar, I really think you're going to need some sort of bracket or brace to keep the entire wheel mount from rotating. With ONLY the quick release, I'm afraid one run in with a curb or large bump and there is still going to be movement, creating a kiddo catapult!

Diggin' the photos. Really helps with the explanation. I'm not sure how/where to add a movement restricting bracket on your current set-up though. Looking forward to seeing your solution.

I am going to try and find something like this

There is room on the quick release assembly to put some nuts on it so I can lock the washer in place, then notch out the "T" connector so everything sits tightly. At least that is what I hope. I could swear that I've seen washers like this in the past, but a quick search of hardware on a few sites yielded negative results... I'm still crossing my fingers.

Then, I am thinking I can throw a nut w/bolt through both sides of the other "T" connector that connects the wheel assembly. The bolts paired with the PVS cement should be enough to keep that from rotating forward... I have free reign to work on the project this weekend, so I'll post more pics as I go. Thanks for all the input!

Sorry, I know it's been a while and I haven't updated. Things have been hectic in my life so I have had to put this little project on the back burner. We recently moved and between the packing, move, and unpacking, the new place was a disaster and it's been a non-stop cleaning adventure. I am hoping to get back to this in the next week or so once the house is hospitable and I get my kitchen pass renewed. I promise I will finish this!

Did you have any luck converting your BOB stroller into a bike trailer? My husband and I own the 2011 BOB Revolution Duallie and we want to convert it into a trailer instead of having to purchase a trailer.
