It's a wildlife sanctuary in SE Ohio that spans 10,000 acres of previously strip mined land. Several zoo directors got together to turn it into a place to rehabilitate animals that did not live well in captivity. Captive-born creatures don't adapt to their "native" habitat well, so they made a place a a sort of halfway house. 25 years in, it's become a unique zoo alternative with bus tours and special programs.
