so recently we ran out of disposable diapers at our house, and my recent refill order from diapers.com unfortunately would not arrive til sometime today (Tuesday). No biggie because I had lots and lots of swim diapers which (at the time) I figured, same thing as a regular diapers. BOY was I wrong! I'm note sure what exactly a swim diaper is supposed to do because it sure it did hold much of my son's .... messes. So they've started treating them like regular underwear. I'm telling you, they hold less like pull ups! Anyhow, started the timer today after my son started eating his snack and then walked him to the potty about 5 minutes before I figured he would need to go. Brought along his two favorite books and the tablet with his Zoodles (a kid friendly app.) to the potty. And 13 minutes later, SUCCESS!

The down side, for me (at least) is looks like the rest of the day will be the "Once upon a Potty" dvd marathon.....
