So, here we are at that magical age (2) where my daughter is starting to figure out that she probably ought to be using the big girl potty.<br><br>Six months ago, as I envisioned this magical moment in my mind, I predicted an easy acceptance of the potty at home, but a more reluctant acceptance of the potty at school. In fact, at the time, I publicly pronounced on DadLabs that I was going to install one of those miniature toilets in our house (as introduced to us by Daddy Troy's video). My idea was that if I had the same equipment at home and school, then our dear little pumpkin would be more apt to accept the miniature toilet in her school classroom.<br><br>Upon reflection, perhaps I held this belief because of my own childhood memories. I clearly remember holding my bladder for very extended periods of time in 1st grade because I absolutely refused to use the bathroom at school under any condition. (One particularly humiliating moment in 1st grade still haunts my adult mind).<br><br>Hindsight is 20/20...perhaps I was projecting my own deeply rooted fears onto my daughter and worrying that she might suffer from the same paranoia that I did.<br><br>But......uhhhh....yeah, that's not quite how it's working out.....<br><br>It turns out that our daughter has apparently trained herself to use the potty, but only at school. Her teacher started reporting on the daily status report that our daughter was using the potty. We were like....whaaa???<br><br>She refuses to use the potty at home.<br><br>Ideas?
