Hey guys. Has anyone had any experiences with Gymboree? My wife suggested we take our 6 month old to these classes now that RSV season is coming to an end.

YES, his Doc gave us the all clear last week and we are now coming out of our hidey hole.

Mostly I'm curious if it's worth $70 a month for a 6 month old. He doesn't go to daycare so I worry that he needs a little socialization. I mean how else is he going to get his "plays well with others" certificate when he gets to kindergarten if he is never around "others"? Could we just as easily find a playgroup for free?

Is this really what it's like?

We've been to numerous birthday parties there, and the kids always seem to have a great time. The staff has always seemed well-trained and attentive. SIx months seems young, but even at that age, babies have a preference for looking at other babies. Kids love interacting with other kids. Might be worth it for that.
