Ok...so Jocelyn Jane Ione Davis is here and officially one week old! She was 7lbs 4oz at birth...three days later, she was 7lbs at the Dr's...today (one week) she is 7lbs 1oz...the Dr. was not concerned other than telling us to add one or two ounces of formula...oh, she is only breast feeding and latching on well; we can here the swallowing and her poops are changing colors, so the plumbing is good and she is getting breast milk...any thoughts guys?

My only thought is to not give her the bottle at night so as to lessen gas and all that...

Not unusual at all for a baby's weight to dip immediately after birth. My oldest was a preemie and it took several weeks for him to get back up to his birth weight. Breast feeding seems like it should be easy, but they sometimes have to figure it all out.

Sounds like your pediatrician is on top of it, and as long as your "output" continues regularly, you don't have anything to worry about.
