One of our family favorite grill recipes is a thick cut pork chop with a dry rub of equal parts, brown sugar, kosher salt and pepper.

Don't leave it alone on the grill though. If the pork chop juices run and your grill flares up, the sugar burns quick, instead of carmelizing. Really not appealing then.

Daddy Brad created a new topic Foods with HVP recalled in the forums.
The FDA recalled a long list of foods that contain the flavor enhancer HVP. These include chips and salty snacks, soup mixes, salad dressings among others. Why do we need flavor enhancers in the first place? How about using spices! Here is the complete list. www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/HVPCP/#SoupMix
