Today, like every other day, I got out of bed at 6:00 a.m. But today, unlike every other day, I felt great. The grass was a little greener, the sky a little bluer, and the sun a little brighter. Because today, unlike every other day for the past seven months, my 6 a.m. wake up call was not preceded by a 4 a.m. and 2 a.m. and 12 a.m. wake up call.

Our little boy slept through the night for the first time in his life. And let me tell you it is awesome! I never realized how wonderful several 3-hour stretches of uninterrupted sleep would make you feel. (I had to get up once to pee) Read the rest of this entry »
