Twice a year our neighborhood association hosts a neighborhood wide garage sale.  Folks display all of their unwanted crap on the drive way and then other folks from all over the city come and buy this crap and take it back to their homes.  This is a perfect relationship.  It seems my family is really adept at collecting crap, so getting rid of it and making a few dollars in the process is wonderful.
