Handmade Gifts Win Mother’s Day

Suddenly it’s parent celebration season again! Ladies first, of course. So, moms, please step forward and scoop up the thanks and goodies that you so richly deserve. A quick search of the DadLabs archives is enough to reveal that we have sadly, in our reckless efforts to serve dads, sorely underserved this holiday in the past.
Never fear, Concretin Nik is here! Our fearless community leader has a post that will arrive on the very Day of Mothers. We hope that you will check that out and leave some responses.

Preggers Take Over Live Show

Miranda and I are taking over the DadLabs Live Show on February 15 at 2pm CST/ 3pm EST. We are calling it the “DadLabs Virtual Baby Shower Live Show”.
Miranda and I have been fortunate to already receive such great products from Baby Bjorn, like the Babysitter Balance, Baby Carrier Air and Spirit, Soft Bib, Dishes, Travel Crib.
The items that we still need are as listed:
Infant Car Seat

Diaper Pail
Breast Pump
Hip and stylish Diaper Bag that will make a dad look awesome.
Infant Vacuum Cleaner…no wait, that’s not a real item…yet

Beats by Dre: Giving Def a Whole New Meaning

If you have a tween or a teen, you know what Beats by Dre are. And if this recent, breathless piece in the New York Times business section is right — there are going to be Benetton-hued, obscenely-priced headphones under a lot of trees this Christmas. While there is some debate about whether the sound quality of the Beats is crisp or craptastic, there is no doubt about one thing: Plug those ‘phones into an iPod, crank the volume, and your child can have permanent hearing damage in just two songs.
