Be My Valentine

Valentine’s Day is a bit tricky.  It comes out of nowhere, sits smack dab in the middle of the paying for all the excess spending on Christmas gifts period and ruthlessly exposes my weaknesses as a thoughtful and creative mushy gift giver.  This year was no different.  I failed miserably on the gift side.  The only thing that saved my bacon was the fact that our family returned from a week at Disney World on the 13th and my sweet wife gave me a pass.  The only gift I could muster was hanging out with all three kids most of the day, so she could have a little Mommy alone time.

With the little dude in the Bjorn, the middle one draped on my leg and the oldest shooting baskets in the drive way, I managed to join in the weekly Cast of Dads pod-cast.  Conversation naturally touched on our personal Valentines Day plans, thoughts on the greatest chick flicks of all time, as well as intimidation tactics that we plan to use to scare the crap out of all the little punks that will ultimately try and date our daughters!  Give a listen.
