Remember. It’s a process.
We had two nights of “technically” sleeping through the night last week. It didn’t last either, but he’s only a month old. The technical definition of sleeping through the night is six hours straight, by the way. That seems awfully slim to me. Subtracting for getting to sleep yourself and anything else you’d want to do in that time, you’re looking at lengthy nap. Not much more.
