It’s a Wonderful Life!

Twas three nights before Christmas and…

My dog peed on the floor; my three year old daughter spiked a 102 fever; our 5-month old son screamed the entire night and after work today I have to go out into the pre-holiday, last minute, shopping madness and buy presents for Santa to bring the kids.

It’s a wonderful life.

Really it is.

I actually have a floor where our dog can pee. Many are homeless.

A late night fever is the biggest health concern our family has, others face significant and tragic health issues daily.

Our home is filled with the happy sounds of excited children eager for Santa’s arrival, yet many people will spend the holidays alone.

I have a job, a few dollars to purchase presents, loved ones to buy them for and the freedom to celebrate Christmas, Ramadan, Hanukah, Winter Solstice or whatever Holiday it is that I choose to remember.

Jimmy Stewart got it right; It’s a wonderful life!
