My wife recently came down with a nasty bug and for several days was completely out of commission.  During this extended sick session, 100% of the child rearing duties fell to dear old dad.

We got along fine.  All the kids made it through properly nourished,  never came close to an emergency room visit and actually made it to school a few days wearing semi-matching clothes.

But it was exhausting, I’m glad she’s better cause I like the tag team approach.
