Daddy Clay: I can’t believe it! There are parenting sites out there that say you’re not allowed because you’re male. They wont even let you in, its like – Sorry you’ve got a penis!

Hey there, welcome back to the lounge – I’m Daddy Clay.

Daddy Brad: And I’m Daddy Brad.

Daddy Brad: What do you mean?

Daddy Clay: It’s a small office and I don’t want to talk to you.

Daddy Brad: Why not?

Daddy Clay: Because you’re sleeping!

Daddy Clay: So I go on the community. That’s where I spend a lot of my time during the workday, and I encourage you to do the same.

Daddy Brad: I go there too!

Daddy Brad: You know what? When I’m on the community – I don’t talk to you.

Daddy Clay: I don’t talk to you a bit.

Daddy Brad: I talk to everybody else out there.

Daddy Clay: I do! And they’re interesting!

Daddy Brad: Yeah they are!

Daddy Clay: And some of them write so smart.

Daddy Brad: And if I wanted to know, give me some ideas about good backyard barbecue things, stuff I could throw on the grill? Those dudes will tell me.

Daddy Clay: Yes absolutely – if you’ve got a health concern, like BPA – you’re worried about BPA, the new FDA finding on that - go to the conversation about 99 bottles on the wall. That was started by Uncle Sutts and he will be in a conversation with a person that has the best information on that subject on the Internet.

Daddy Brad: Yeah and weapons in the home – guns in the home, a lot of hunters out there you know? I don’t talk to you because you make your bread with some kind of rosemary garnish…

Daddy Clay: You keep that up and I’m going to throw my latte on you.

Daddy Brad: The point is – its guys, talking about the guy side of parenting.

Daddy Clay: I had a question about what camera to get – your question right? I’m going to get a new snapshot, and that Len guy, concrete Nick, Shawn all of these guys are piling in with great ideas about the cameras that they use, what they think, what you should look for – there’s huge resources here. And its guys! Its not like going to most parenting sites – what do you find?

Daddy Brad: Moms.

Daddy Clay: They wont even let you in bubba! They wont even let you in at some of these sites. It’s like – I’m sorry, you’ve got a penis – so you’re not coming into our site!

Daddy Brad: Have you been emailing that around?

Daddy Clay: No, I’m just saying, I can’t believe that there are parenting sites out there that say you’re not allowed, because you’re a male! We don’t do that. We don’t do that! Hey moms? You are so welcome – we would love a little bit of mom perspective, because frankly, the Dad Labs community can sometimes be a bit of a sausage head.

Daddy Brad: We need some butterflies in there – some butterflies in the house!

Daddy Clay: So we would like your perspective, but I’m telling you – you can get good information, there’s a lot to learn in the community, but its male!

Daddy Brad: Yeah

Daddy Clay: It’s not a locker room, its not inappropriate conversation – unless Brad’s on there!

Daddy Brad: Dude! There are things that you have to say! You can’t sugarcoat everything- ‘PC’? Ha! I like to say it!

Daddy Clay: And people, one of the things I like, is that we can even talk about things like politics – that’s a potentially hot button, difficult. But the guys there, everybody respects one another and the conversation is interesting, intelligent – sometimes a little irreverent – as dads.

Daddy Brad: Hey? All you people out there – I think you called them ‘lurkers’ which sounds a little creepy, out there viewing on a syndicated network – the youtubers, come on in!

Daddy Clay: Whatever! You can watch where you want to but sometimes, come to the crib – come to the Dad Lab community and join the conversation there. I think it’s a good thing to do.

Daddy Brad: Hey you know what? If somebody wanted to see you do something – like a dad challenge, could they challenge you on the community – says Daddy Clay, do this! And would you do it? Would you do it if we have enough people get on the community and say Daddy Clay do this? I don’t know – juggling or something. Would you do it huh?

Daddy Clay: So if you had an idea for an episode yeah! That’s a great way to communicate with us – is on that community.

Daddy Brad: What if you have a question about one of the products that we talk about?

Daddy Clay: You know what? You can probably get a response from one of the manufacturers – if you ask a question about Baby Bjorn, I bet you hear from Bjorn. I mean not THE Bjorn, but a Bjorn – they’re all Bjorn – most of them. Even with the ladies. That’s not true!

Daddy Brad: What do you mean?

Daddy Clay: I’m kidding

Daddy Brad: What are you talking about? – I didn’t get that.

Daddy Clay: The sponsors – the Baby Bjorn sponsors – it’s not true! It’s not true at all.

You know what? I hope you guys will join the conversation there - hopefully, it’s probably more interesting than the one that we’re having now.
