In honor of Thanksgiving, we at DadLabs gathered up a few of our friends and asked them what Thanksgiving means in their homes. For these moms and dads, the holiday is about food and family. At DadLabs, we too love our time with our family, and our Thanksgiving turkey of course. Tofurkey, not so much. Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at DadLabs! CLAY So what does thanksgiving mean in your home?

GREGG Cowboy breakfast down by the crick, a lot of horse riding some shooting of guns.

YVONNE To me personally it means a lot of family and a lot of food.

GREGG We spend the time with my family and get that out of the way for the whole year.

BANAS Thanksgiving for us is an annual trip to France.

YVONNE His family doesn’t do the traditional thanksgiving.

BANAS You can find turkey in France.

LAURA Right when you walk in there are four pictures above on the wall in the dining room.

MCCORMICK Even though we were 33 when we had Emit, up to that point we really haven’t been fully adults, and then we have the kid and people come to us.

LAURA George Bush the first, George Bush the second, Regan, and the Pope are who greet you as you arrive at the ranch.

ERIC This year thanksgiving is going to be a little bit different. Well my wife, she has gone to the dark side. She is now a vegetarian.

YVONNE I have a certain thing I every thanksgiving. And to talk about we may be doing Mexican.

ERIC I mean what do you stuff a tofurkey with? Have you thought about that?

MCCORMICK And I like that Emit is going to experience thanksgiving at our house, that being said, not Emits favorite holiday.

ERIC I’m sure you can do all sorts of things with tofurkey. You can make tofurkey sandwiches.

ADAMS Sometimes people just get tired of eating turkey every year. Its not like on that day you eat turkey and that’s it.

MCCORMICK Its sandwiched between a holiday that’s all about candy and a holiday all about toys.

ADAMS You eat turkey the next day and the next day, then you find out how to make the ham for breakfast.

MCCORMICK And when you have a holiday all about food he doesn’t like, then there is really no appeal there.

LAURA My parents came to the ranch once…

MCCORMICK Not a turkey fan, not a sweet potato fan, not a stuffing fan.

GREGG Thanksgiving for us is going to this place, we hangout with each other, we try not to kill each other…

LAURA We bring our own alcohol.

GREGG And then we leave.
