Daddy Troy: Welcome back to Gear Daddy, the Stockholm Sweden edition. You know the minute we got off the plane I saw a dad and he was strolling along with his kid in a stroller, and I said guys “give me the camera I got to get a picture of this. We’re here to cover fatherhood and I got to get a picture of the dad and the stroller.” And I saw another dad and a stroller, and another dad and a stroller. Totally true story, there are dads everywhere with strollers, in fact, mom and dad’s everywhere. It’s one of the most active stroller cities, pedestrian cities, bicycle cities I have ever seen. We were walking down the street after that point and we ended up at the Barn Boutique. We were going to go inside and see what parents in Sweden are buying.
You got the classic Stokie Trip Trap, you can adjust the height as your kid grows and this really styling Brio high chair. Look how squishy this thing is right here. Of course you have the classic Brio toys, very Swedish. The Swedish swim team swim suit, keeps out the sun. You know the Swedes really need this; there is twenty hours of sun a day. The classic wooden toys. There is actually a law in Sweden that says that every baby store has to carry Baby Bjorn. Check out this high chair, totally styling, love it. and check this out it converts into a stool. This thing is called a Rinky. But most of all it’s the strollers, check this out. They have the Silver Cross High End from England, they go the Bugaboo Bee, but also they got the stroller cellar, the reserves down stairs. We’ll go check those out. You got your baby on one side and your kid on the other. This is like stroller heaven, but it’s in a basement.
