Daddy Clay: As soon as it’s dinner time and the folks are in there cooking a meal you’re going to have lots of help if you’ve got kids. That usually means taking a kitchen chair, turning it around and pushing it up against the counter so the kids can help out. That can result in pinched fingers and even some falls. So now we’ve got a great product here – Carol, from Little Helpers, has come to show us her Learning Tower.

Carol: Yes. This is an adjustable height step stool that I designed for my daughter when she was around two years old. That’s an age where they’re beginning to want to do everything by themselves. So first, this is designed where the children can climb in by themselves, and once they are in they have a space large enough that they can actually move around and not be fearful of falling off. The tower grows with the child. It has four different levels that adjust easily. The children’s center of gravity always needs to be placed properly so they will always have the right place in the tower. The Learning Tower is also a very open-ended product. It can turn into a puppet theater or a fort just with the child’s imagination.

Daddy Clay: That’s terrific. One of my favorite images when I think back about raising kids is them in the kitchen helping out with mom and this is a product that encourages that, it’s a wonderful activity. Nice piece of work.
