It won't be long before your child brings you one of their art projects and asks you to display it. In this episode of Gear Daddy, Daddy Troy has come up with a great idea that will allow you to create a home art gallery for your children's art. Using tools and some curtain rods from IKEA, you can set up a simple way to rotate the artwork your kids bring home. DadLabs Ep. 372. Brought to you by Baby Banz.
Daddy Troy: Welcome back to Gear Daddy I'm your host, Daddy Troy. Today I'm going to show you how to hang your child artwork your home. This whole week has been sponsored by Baby Banz, they are kid’s sunglasses and we're getting tons of these away so stick around until the end of the program and I'll tell you how to get some. You guys know that I love IKEA. Well I found a great deal there this week. They are these curtain rods and hangers that I'm using to hang my kids art. They are really easy to install. You need a screwdriver or some sort of drill. You also need some sort of mounting hardware to put it into your wall. You will have to get these at a hardware store. These are sheet rock screws. Anybody at a hardware store can help you find these and they’re not hard to put in. And you finally also want a level to make sure you’re installing it in an attractive fashion. So what I really like about these is that it’s really easy to change your kid’s art every week. On Friday when he or she brings home their art you can take down the old art and put up the new art. I have chosen to mount these down at the child’s level so that he or she can really appreciate it. It makes your house look like an art gallery. And even this short one right here can take something as large as a poster board. Well that's all this week for Gear Daddy. Remember this whole week has been sponsored by Baby Banz and Kids Banz. Sunglasses are really important or eye health if you want to keep looking at art the rest of your life. We're giving away tons of kid’s sunglasses this week so go to dadlabs.com, and back on Tuesday Daddy Clay started a discussion about the lounge in which you share pictures of your kids online or not. If you enter that discussion, you are automatically registered to win some of the Baby Banz. We’ll see you next week on Gear Daddy at dadlabs.com.
