Fortamajig

Making tents and forts is one of the most fun activities for kids. But they are not always the easiest things to build for parents and children. Daddy Brad is joined by representatives from The Happy Kid Company who demonstrate how their product, the Fortamajig, works. Made of nylon ripstop fabric, the tent is sturdy and most of all, fun for kids. They are sure to love this hideout. DadLabs ep. 83 Gear Daddy.

Daddy Brad: Don’t you just hate it when you’re making forts and tents with your kids inside. You get the blanket out and put it over the chairs and it all comes crashing down. Well, problem solved. We’re here with Katherine Huck and Kristen Stocking of the Happy Kid Company and they’ve got a great, great product called the Fortamajig. Ladies, tell us about the Fortamajig.

Katherine: We’d love to. The original Fortamajig allows kids to build any space, any where with no hard pieces to lose or break. Each time your child plays with the Fortamajig just watch their imaginations build and we’ll show you how to do it.

Daddy Brad: Yeah, come on.

Katherine: It’s so easy for a child to build any space, any where using the built-in loops in the Fortamajig. All they need is everything attached to this one piece designed material. They can go from building a four walled fort with windows and doors; take it outside, build a teepee by hanging it from a tree; they can even build an eight foot tunnel with a couple of chairs and a stair rail. It’s very lightweight; it’s very portable and its machine washable. We’re offering it in two versions – one’s a double sided, reversible version made out of nylon rip-stop. The other is a very lightweight single layer version, also nylon rip-stop. Both of them are the exact same version and design, and when you’re done with it, it folds up into less than a square foot and you can put it away. The Fortamajig is the ultimate all-in-one play space for kids everywhere.

Daddy Brad: Tons of fun with the Fortamajig. Thanks ladies.

Kristen: Thanks a lot.

Katherine: Your welcome, thanks so much.
